Thursday, August 20 ... exactly two weeks after our arrival. Gone are the days of the total displacement of full immersion in the preparation of activities and a play, the fears of insects, contaminated water and climate are not always easily bearable, comes perhaps the time to make room for some thought to help metabolize our being here. This month Redes is working on awareness raising, cleaning, care of the environment, recycling ... and building sites, has been asked to make a play (especially children) to carry around to raise or give simple insights into this issue.
Today, our first "theater" (We want to hear them if so called) within Redes. We discover that the hard work of last week led to a job that appeals to children and adults and we must thank the people of the area's gritty "trabajo social" in Redes who calmed the inevitable alleviating concerns that the group talk about recycling, cleaning, garbage, average environment in a fun way (which is fine, especially for children ... but not only) to people living attached to the "Chureca" (landfill) and that in many cases work collecting garbage and then clean them and sell them, there seemed a very simple thing.
