I come from an education and a very special study. In those days my academy was a collective. We tried to decide to pursue an academy for drama teachers (for students study 4 to 6 years after high school) in a truly democratic. Che donne siamo e che donne vorremmo essere? E’ la domanda che mi assilla stamattina ma è un pensiero che mi accompagna da ieri.
Sarà un caso che ieri, invece di trascorrere il fine settimana nella mia splendida campagna, o al mare oppure altrove a divertirmi e a rilassarmi, insieme ad un gruppetto di donne (poche) e uomini (chiaramente di più) siamo stati a riflettere su responsabilità sociale e polirtica e su crisi della politica e dei valori?
E’ la crisi degli adulti ha sintetizzato benissimo un amico riminese, è la crisi di adulti confusi e spaventati che non sanno più da che parte guardare e non sanno più a chi santo devono votarsi per riuscire a non disperare.

S ono una persona anziana (82!) ma non inattiva. Vengo da una lontanissima prima esperienza di impegno civile: ho partecipato nel 1943- 44-45 a Roma ad incontri clandestini di preparazione alle attività politiche future per la nascita di un partito di ispirazione cattolica, insieme a donne che dopo l'occupazione nazista diedero vita al Movimento femminile della D.C. Poi, dal 1 ottobre 1945, ho lavorato in maniera continuativa per organizzare la partecipazione attiva delle donne della D.C. alle attività politiche che nascevano in quei primi anni dopo la concessione del voto alle donne. ll nostro ufficio, due stanze, era a Piazza del Gesù. Questo lavoro che è durato per me nove anni (i più belli certamente della D.C.) ha segnato tutta la mia vita, perchè non era solo un lavoro ma un impegno fortemente sentito di "responsabilità civile" appunto, per il clima diffuso in tutti quelli che si occupavano di politica in tutti i Partiti, di partecipazione alla crescita del bene comune. Poi mi sono sposata, ho avuto quattro figli, e contemporaneamente ho insegnato nelle scuole elementari di Roma partecipando a un progetto sperimentale di insegnamento (linguistica strutturata, insiemistica, insegnamento basato esclusivamente sulla ricerca). Poi ho lavorato nel volontariato (Caritas). Sono venuto da Padova con molta curiosità e speranza per l'iniziativa. L'esperienza dell'incontro è stata entusiasmante e l'ho seguita sia sabato che domenica anche se non sono intervenuto attivamente nel dibattito. Sono ripartito da Roma molto confortato dall'aver incontrato persone che da tutta Italia erano lì a rappresentare anche molti altri cittadini che sono stanchi di essere esclusi dalla politica, ovvero dalle scelte che incidono sulla vita nostra e dei nostri figli e che sono profondamente delusi dalla deriva che hanno preso gli attuali "partiti". Penso come tutti voi che valga la pena di dedicare del tempo a costruire con pazienza un'alternativa coinvolgendo quanti più soggetti possibile e cominciando dalle relazioni che noi tutti abbiamo localmente, ma senza perdere di vista le esperienze internazionali (vedi latinoamerica) che ci insegnano altri modi di "fare politica". Ho già cominciato la diffusione e firmo l'appello con la certezza che ce la faremo.

We are people with experience, age, history and different skills. We are alarmed by what is happening in Italy and worldwide , society and institutions. We are concerned with the serious crisis of politics, democracy, institutions and information. Many of the people and the problems that we deal with every day trying to promote respect for human rights is not found either attention or political representation.
Riconosciamo il ruolo che la Costituzione affida ai partiti. Ma siamo preoccupati per un modo di fare che spesso mortifica la democrazia ed è lontano dalla vita concreta delle persone e dei popoli , dalle loro difficoltà, dai loro bisogni e dai loro diritti fondamentali. I partiti sono in crisi: una crisi di rappresentanza, una crisi etica, di identità, di progetto, di visione. Non è un problema solo loro: è un problema anche nostro.
