Most of the leaders of the PD, as well as other parties and organizations of the Left, were born in the 40 and 50. They are children of the baby boom of '68 and have had the opportunity to reach positions of responsibility by young people and in their past, periods of major political and social achievements.
But at least three decades, are anchored to those experiences, to a vision of the world and, also, to positions of power defended to the bitter end.
So they blocked the next generation, that of the 60 and 70, which however, on the few occasions he is able to grapple, often proves adequate to the present.

We need a generational change that is not co-opt young people with no experience and no history of political activism behind him, just because the old faithful "powerful" and its leader. Attitudes like this have created cross-power groups, not connected to any employment policy and careful of each position of power that would guarantee them. But the era of parts needed by the PD is not enough.
